What This Site Is

MyMoneyCalcs.com is a collection of free financial calculators and educational content for everyday financial decisions: mortgages, auto loans, debt payoff, budgeting, compound interest, and home equity lines of credit. Every calculator works without an email signup, without a paywall, and without a sales pitch.

The goal is straightforward: when you need to run a number — what would my mortgage payment be, how long until I'm out of credit card debt, how much will my savings grow — you should be able to do it in 30 seconds, see the math behind it, and understand what the result actually means for your life.

Why It Exists

Most financial calculators online are owned by lenders, brokerages, or large media sites whose business model depends on funneling you toward a specific product. The math is correct, but the framing is biased. We wanted a calculator site that gives you the same numbers a financial advisor's spreadsheet would give you, with no agenda about what you should do with the result.

The educational content on each calculator page exists for the same reason. A monthly payment number isn't useful in isolation — you need context about what's normal, what's a red flag, what tradeoffs are involved, and what mistakes to avoid.

How We Make Money

We're transparent about this: this site is supported by affiliate partnerships and display advertising. When you click a sponsored link to a lender, broker, or app and complete a transaction with that company, we may receive a commission at no additional cost to you. This funds the site.

What we commit to: our calculators don't bias their math toward partners, our recommendations are based on what we'd genuinely consider using, and every sponsored link is clearly disclosed. Read our full affiliate disclosure.

Who's Behind This

MyMoneyCalcs was built by Carrie Hagglund, who started the project with a simple mission: help people. Whether you're buying your first home, digging out of debt, or planning for the future, these calculators are built to give you clear, honest numbers — so you can make confident decisions on the path to achieving your American dream.

Our Editorial Standards

The financial information on this site reflects current U.S. consumer finance practices and federal regulations. Where applicable, we link to authoritative primary sources (Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, IRS, HUD, Fannie Mae) so you can verify the information independently.

None of the content on this site constitutes personalized financial, legal, or tax advice. Calculators give you accurate math based on the inputs you provide; they don't know your full financial picture. For decisions involving substantial money, please consult with a qualified financial advisor, attorney, or tax professional.

Corrections
